Back fire under start up?

So interesting situation that seems to get worse with miles. When I start up the Treg in the morning when the motor is cold. Insert key start up idle is high 1600 RPM and there are two very loud blurrp's that come from the motor. It almost sounds like a back fire? There is no CEL and after 30 secconds its gone. Motor does not do it after it has been running. Idle is just fine settles to about 700. Perhapes I have carbon issue on intake valves? thoughts?
