So I saw this question asked but did not see an answer:
Can I have the "Six light Salute" if I do not have HID headlights?

Also, I have the monochrome MFI can I add the option to turn off the TPMS in the MFI or is that only on the newer Tregs?

I just found a great addition:

Add OFF ROAD level and TILT sensor read-out on the CD navigation "offroad" screen!

modify control module #56-Radio
click "Coding-07"
add "2" to the third digit. (mine was a "0" in this digit, changed it to "2")
click do it...

Now I have inclination and tilt read-outs!

I take no responsibility for any side-effects of this change and I have not fully tested the vehicle after this change, but the screen now shows the meters.

2004 V8, air suspension, Reflex silver. My other car is a Jeep Comanche.

This has not been discussed much because there is no functionality. The hardware component needed for this is missing. This option went away entirely with the DVD nav units.

I have the DRL option in the MFI completed. I have turned off DRL....however, my lights are still on? I cannot turn them off...even when I turn off the lights via the switch.????

I did just put a new light/rain sensor in. Was I supposed to remove the gel layer over the sensor cluster on the front? I am wondering if this gel is causing the car to think that it is dark out.

KII-USB Vag available! PM Me.

Drippps,

Whatever you do don't peel that gel off your new sensor!

I wonder if you're using the MFI option correctly. If so, your DRL's will be off with the switch in the "0" (10 O'clock) position, regardless of what the sensor is doing.

Ok guys I just got my Treg vagged tonight...used all the tips on page one..and I have a cpl unresolved probs that I cant figure out. First, I got the 6 light salute, but my DRL's are still on, even when i turn the switch to the ten oclock position...the drl icon in the dash is no longer there... weird....

Second is that my isnt radio is working ok with the new settings, i mean I dont have the stupid nav warning anymore, but it doesn't show the frequencies for my channels, only words like "Rock" "Country" etc....and i cant change my frequencies...when I use the right hand knob that used to change the frequencies manually, it just scrolls my selection around on the screen...any thoughts?
