GPL on a V8 Touareg

Anyone has tried or has information on running a V8 Touareg using GPL (Propane)?

Thanks for any info.

No, and I'm sure that is as an instant way to void any and all engine warranties. Why would you want to? As if the V8 mileage isn't bad enough, running it on propane would surely make those number plummet into the high single digits AND you would loose a bunch of power.

In Europe, propane is 1/4 the price of gasoline. And you get all kinds of tax incentives.

I ran a Suburban on duel fuel (kept the gas as back up ) for 2 years. No warrenty issues. Easier to start on gas then switch. Performance difference barely noticable. Consumption about 10-15 % higher but it was great saving at time. I kept records and paid for conversion within first year. My tank was underneath (reduced clearence a little) and I could get 400 km before switching back to gas.
Good luck
