Exclamation Help! I need new tire and have 19s

I need a good All-weather tire! I have been using Pirelli's but I do not like them at all. I need 275/45 R19 and there's not much to choose from. Is there anyone that has had a good 19" tire that they have been using??

I am not running 19˝s but, a friend had them on his BMW X6, and the exact same dimensions. We mentioned the tires he has on it just last night, he said he is going to buy them again. Smoothest and grippiest tires he ever had. Goodyear eagle S2

Edit: Or maybe LS2? not sure, search for them on internet

2006-VW Touareg 2.5 TDI,174hp.Manual Gearbox. Full,except the air suspension.

They do have 19s in the Goodyear Eagle LS-2 but not in the 275/45 that I need for the VW wheels. Thanks for telling me about them though!

I'm on my second set of Michelin Latitude Tour HP's. The first set was much better than the original tires, but the fronts got a little ragged on the outside edges probably because of not rotating enough.

Look into a set of 17" rims and winter tires for your 2009 Touareg. You'll be $$$ ahead.

I just put on Michelins ($1600) and noticed an improvement in handling and much quieter. Now with the snow in the Midwest we'll see how they do. I haven't got stuck so far this winter.

Not too much to choose from. Yes they were LatitudeŽ Tour HP™ from the dealer. I was a little concerned about mounting and balancing on the aluminum wheels. The dealer offered the same warranty and maintenance as the local tire dealer. So I went that route.

Cannot say anything bad about the Continental Extreme DWS's I'm running. Solid tire.
