Diesel Emission Testing in Denver Area

All,

Just seeing if anyone knows of any places to get diesel emissions testing in the Denver Metro area. The only one I know of that has AWD dyno is Go Dodge Arapahoe in Centennial which was really convenient when I lived a mile from there, but not so convenient now that I moved.

Anyone have know of, or have experience with any others?

Thx!

My dad takes his F-350 Powerstroke to a place near the Costco in Westminster. When mine is due, I'll be taking it there.

There are two in the state that can do it. Go Dodge Arapahoe is the only one in Denver that has an AWD dyno that has their diesel emissions license. The other is Nelsen's Automotive in Fort Collins. They're great guys and did mine for me. (Go Dodge's system was down for repair.) I hear rumors that there might be one in Colorado Springs but thus far I haven't found it.

I called EVERY licensed diesel emissions tester in Denver and was told the same thing "we don't have an AWD dyno, go to Go Dodge or Nelsen's in FOCO." The guy by Costco in Westminster won't be able to do it -- F-350s don't require testing in 4WD (unless that has recently changed.)

$70 at Nelsen's and done in less than a half hour. Much friendlier and far more organized than the Air Care Colorado folks who do our gas cars. Make an appointment.

Good luck!
