Denver, Co. Any recommended dealers for repairs?

I am new to the VW experience and so far I love the touareg. I bought it from Emich. The sales staff were great, but the upper management there are Schmucks. Given the experience with the tow hitch issue, I would like to try another shop for a warranty body panel repair. Any recommendations for the
Greater Denver/Boulder area? I live in Uptown Denver, so I'm central to everything.

Gebhardt VW in Boulder. Get Chris MacDonald as your service writer (request him explicitly) and get Chris Sabczyk (sp?) as your Touareg service tech.

I bought from Osborn and the sales people were great. On the other hand, everytime I walk into the service bay, I see disorganization and inefficiency and have wasted a lot of time there. Just my two cents...

For Body Repair

I had A LOT of body work done on my A6 @ McDonalds shop in Englewood before and they did a fantastic job. I'd highly recommend them for body work. As for mechanical repairs - cannot say. For independent work I use Slipstream in Boulder and have for years.

Rockies, did MacDonald do their own body work, or just sublet it out?

Wow I'm slow!!! Been away a year or more ... McDonalds has their own shop and did the work themselves. Unfortunately I cannot remember the certification they have - but they were one of only a handful in the greater denver area possessing it. State farm was my insurance carrier and they I had 0 issues on either side.

Try Alliance Auto Care in Downtown Loveland. It is right on the corner of 4th and Garfield. 400 N Garfield Ave, Loveland, CO 80537. Look for my blue V10 out front with the company logo wrapped on it. Give me a call if you have any questions. I own the place. 970-660-4429 - Joe. I also work with a great body shop if anyone needs one.

McDonald smashed, and I mean SMASHED my windshield whilst my Egg was in for a new trans-valve body. DO NOT USE McDonald in Denver!

Larry Miller VW

I live in Grand Junction, my employer is in Golden. Since I only commute a couple times a month, and fly out of Denver, I decided to take my Treg to Larry Miller VW in Lakewood. Being from UT, the name sold me.

It is there now getting the 60,000 mile service; $500 plus change.

They called me today to let me know the 40K service hadn't been done by the original owner. Nice.

No problems, other than, the plugs were the originals and were a bit "cooked". I opted to add another 200 bones to the bill to take care of it.

Also, my "low tone" on my horn is OOC. Suggestions?

This is the first service done since I purchased it back in Dec.

Otherwise, my emergency option would be Elk Mountain VW in Glenwood Springs.

Thoughts?
