your better off buying a honda accord.... driving 30k a year and trying to buy a touareg with an original price of 55K will have major repair bills.

sure I have one that is high mileage, 153k currently.
It is a perfect vehicle to drive a lot of miles with. I have had mine for a long time.
Sure it sucks gas (so do most suv's) and maintenance can be somewhat costly.
You save a lot if you shop around and do things yourself.
You get a great comfortable ride in one of the safest SUV's out there.
However if you must buy one on payments and do not have the cash for 1 and no safety net for repairs in the future then buy something else.
However if you live the Dave Ramsey life and have all safety nets in place go for it.

for sale

I got a 08 V8FSI for sale. There are more reliable than the 04's. Obviously I'm asking for than you want to spend, but if you're interested let me know. She is in excellemt condition and has around 27k. I have aftermarket Victor Equipment rims on it, but I still have the stock well stored. It's fully loaded; except for the remote start. Good luck on your search.
