Homelink buttons

Looking for a homelink button cover (gray) left or right
outside button hole cover. Mine is missing, need a
replacement. Local dealer quoted $48.00 for this??
I don't think so. Anyone know of a source for these?
This is probably like finding the "proverbial needle".
Any help would be appreciated. I keep stareing at the
hole, not good when trying to drive!!

I read somewhere about Homelink replacing them, but don't quote me on it. I know I have read about for Passats.

Thanks Yeti, never thought to contact them. Good suggestion.
I'll let all know if I can get individual pieces from them.
I appreciate the tip.

Yeti and all,
Homelink customer service responded immediately to my
email this morning. I sent it late last night. Pretty impressive
response time. They said they would be happy to send me a
new button hole cover, just give them the model # and color.
Yeti, you are the man!! Now I can drive the Treg without stareing
at that hole.
Thanks,
Bob T.
Yeti, I owe you a beverage or twelve whenever we should meet.

All good and I actually got that info from a Passat forum for I was looking to replace the one in my wifes. It has a jacked button, but she does not seem to care since it still works.

Never know, if you decide to go to the Rally sometime and I make it back there.

Thanks to T-reg-Gray and his ETKA for providing me
with the correct part number and pricing for the replacement
part. Ordered the complete top-front on the upper console.
I have and extra button hole cover to boot. Both Yeti and
T-Reg-Gray have been extremely helpful on this small but
irritating parts chase. Total cost $28.80 and I'm happy.
