Blind Spot Monitor to Passive

Hello guys,

We a ‘16TDI sport w/ tech.
The blind spot monitor only kicks in or works in speeds of 20mph or higher.
Is there a way to make it work all the time like even at full stop?

Hope to hear some input. Thank you

I wonder why it’s designed to kick in after a certain speed
Nonetheless would be good to be able to change it via vcds if possible
Will have to look at a scan and see which module we need to target

On reasoning might be that it deactivates in parking carages, parking spaces etc. where there is a big number of solid and slowly moving objects => making the system alert constantly.

Just my 2 cents...

Some cars have their systems passive. But theirs are on the mirrors itself..

But yeah the solid big yellow light would be bothersome if on all the time because its too big
