Rear strut mount

The bushes on the lower mount of my front and rear struts are split, i have a 2004 with air suspension. I have found the front bushes with not to much trubble but i cant find the rear ones, the steeler wants $2016.00 each as they come with the shock. Has any one found a replacment? The front bush part no is 7L0412333A.

Does this help?

The diagram looks to me like a standard shock/steel spring set-up but the air compressor and air shock are mentioned so perhaps you will be able to get what you need from the parts list:

https://www.vwpartsvortex.com/auto-p...e-control-scat

VW Touareg models are as follows:
Generation 1: T1 is model 7LA & facelift T2 is model 7L6
Generation 2: T3 is model 7P5 & facelift T4 is model 7P6
Generation 3: T5 is model CR7 [Not available in "VW Atlas" North America!]

Are you talking about the bushing that is actually part of the rear strut assembly that the bottom mounting bolt passes through?

If yes, it doesn't seem to have a individual part number, just part of the strut.

Yes that is correct, but i was hoping maybe a aftermarket bush or something better than over $4000.00 for 2 struts.

Yeah that is what i will have to do, it is a rubber bush inside a metal outer shell and a metal inner sleve for the retaining bolt.

Woops I totally skimmed your post and missed that part!

Like others have mentioned, it looks like a pressed in part; you could buy two struts and perhaps press them out & re-press into your rear struts? @ $278 each w/ the OE shock or @125 each for a Bilstein shock
