Nailed a pothole, now car feels unstable...

So this morning I nailed a pothole bad doing about 60 mph. The esc light came on, and the rear end felt unstable. I took off all 4 wheels and inspected the suspension components, but nothing was noticably loose/ broken. I took it out again, and noticed the esc light was no longer on. At slower speeds (30-50) around sharp curves the front wheel would give the impression like it was slipping on ice. Took it home and inspected the sway bars and all looked good. Any ideas of what I could have messed up?

Get it on an alignment rack ASAP. Tell the tech what happened. They'll know what to look for.

I would go straight to an alignment specialist also . What you describe is something either bent or broken. Could be a dangerous condition to be driving on the highway for sure.

I just picked it up from the shop and it turns out the alignment was way off on all 4. Nothing was damaged. Very surprised but I'm glad that's all it was.

I am glad that is was something simple.

Pretty stout front end if you can knock it around that hard and not have anything broke or bent. If you don't mind, verify back in a few days if you feel that everything is now ok with only the alignment. Thanks.
