Interior 2014 Treg LED Project

Iíve done most of the interior LED upgrade.
I did the front five LEDs in the center console with bulbs that I had in other vehicles from ECS Tuning found here:

https://www.ecstuning.com/b-ziza-par...1095050wht~zi/

I used the above lights in the two rear seat map lights, and like some others, had the forward tabs come apart leaving a few stray parts in the headliner. Shop vac time. Unhappy.

Footwell red LEDs on order from Amazon.

Rear cargo area replacement lights with multiple smdís, not a festoon bulb, sourced on ebay here:

https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?m...2F173674211424

I replaced the front door puddle lights and trunk light with these from Amazon, and yeah, I like the VW logo Ďblingí.

Auto Sport Car Door Logo Shadow...

I intend to cover my fogs with yellow lamin-x and put in 9006 Osram Nightbreaker Lazer 55 watt bulbs. Iíve been using the Osram Nightbreaker Unlimited 55 watt H11 bulbs in my Subbie Outback fog and low beams; love them. Hereís acomparison between the two bulbs:

https://www.powerbulbs.com/blog/2016...-breaker-laser

Mirror puddle lights? Not sure Iím up for tearing apart my outside mirrors, or the vanity lights in the sunvisors.

Will consider rear exterior lights but I donít know if any 2014 Treg rear lights are alresdy LED?

Wow!, Cars from other parts of the world look so clean!

It is very difficult to keep cars clean in Canada, with salt, sand, ice and snow. Canít even wash it since itís -20 C most days for 4 months.

I am always taken aback when going south to warmer climbs and see the good condition cars are, even 10 / 20 year old cars.

Nice!

There are factory LED tail lights, but you won't like the price. My 2013 came with them from the factory. Much nicer than the standard tails.

Itís super easy to replace the exterior mirror LEDs. Nothing to be afraid of if you go about it the right way.

I believe you tilt the glass in words all the way and then pop it out very carefully.

Rear footwell light bling. Will play with the intensity to see where I end up. I tried to insert red 194 bulbs but the sourced bulbs didnít fit well in the sockets. So I found these IJDMTOY 18 SMD LED lights. This vendor is more well known for asian car mods.

Gives it a nice flair I like it! Did you try the lights on the exterior mirrors?

Looks good.
Do all the LED replacements dim as the OEM ones do (IE: when unlocking/locking vehicle or selection footwell brightness) ??

OK what about all of the other LED replacements you put in?
My bulbs now will dim out when I lock the vehicle. Do yours as well?
