Where did u get your wood grain from? I need one for the center console

Yup, those are the tips. Again, mine were the bolt-on ones. The shop that installed the tips did not recommend these particular tips for the Treg. They felt the tips were too long for the vehicle. Again, to make them fit they had to cut the tips and weld them on. Although they are bolt-on, the original exhaust tip on the Treg is too large for the Ractive tips to fit over. So some modification will be necessary.

As for the window tint, the dealer did it for me. I have 35% tint on the front windows and 10% on the remaining windows. If I could do that over again, I would go 10% all around. I wanted to do that at first, but got talked out of it because of stories of getting ticketed by police. Hogwash!

Thanks for the info, I appreciate the help. With respect to the exhauset tips, I'll take a look here in Halifax for them. Would you happen to recall the model though? I made a quick search online and notice that Ractive makes a number of different lines.

I didn't mention it but I also really like the tint you have on the windows. What can you tell me about that?

Hi there - after I posted in the thread asking for pics of the wood trim I stumbled upon your photo album. Your treg looks great. I just purchased mine this weekend past and am looking to make many of the mods you've done. If you don't mind a few questions:
1) wood trim. Did you do the dash as well? does the kit come pre-cut for the treg specifically?
2) love the exhaust tips - where did you get them?
3) are the roof rails factory?
4) what ipod set-up do you have?
5) i notice you swapped your factory wheels for 20's. Looks great. Are the factory ones you took off 19's? Mine came with the 17's and I'm considering the 19's but I don't like the options from VW parts and accessories. Yours look like the ones in all the ads - I like them.
