Looking for 06/07 Touareg TDI

I've been looking for an 06/07 Touareg TDI for couple of months now and have become a little frustrated considering that there just aren't many out there. At least not many for sale from private sellers. I've found a handful that are listed with dealers at reasonable prices but after factoring in the sales tax, it puts the sales total too high. I welcome any advice from any members. Thank You!
