We had made an extension cable for our customer to test it.
We will keep you update closely once there is any news!

Good news!
Test passed! The extension cable work with vehicles came with factory amplifier perfectly!
So all of smartauto24 products can work with 2003-2010 Touareg with/without factory amplifier.
And we just got the latest product:
volkswagen touareg autoradio gps dvd navigation system
This unit has new platform, faster cpu(1GMHZ), bigger ram(512MB), bigger rom(4GB, can be increased to 16GB), DSP for HD videos, 20 dummy discs etc.
Smartauto24 also provide free shipping now.

Sorry that I know nothing about the audio technology but
I read on your website that the extension cable can drive only four speakers? I think factory nav touareg comes with 11 speakers. will the sub and those speakers wont work?

Yes, you can use 4 car speakers.
Because our unit built-in amplifier has only four channels. It can drive 4 car speakers without any problems.
Not the same as factory amplifier has 8 or 11 channels can support 8/11 car speakers.
Our unit also has RCA audio output, if you still want to use all of the car speakers, you can add an extra amplifier to drive them.

But with your latest extension cable, all 8/11 speakers would work using the factory AMP, right?

This extension cable will help you to bypass the factory digital amplifier and use unit's built-in amplifier to drive your car speakers directly. You will still retain mid-range and bass.
Here is a video FYI:

If your vehicle does not come with sound package(digital amplifier), then you do not need the extension cable. And the factory amplifier can still work with our unit as before.
