I would recommend Geoff in a heart beat.

It was an absolute breath of fresh air to meet the man in person.
I got stuck in the Boston traffic and Geoff waited for me until I got there around 5:30.....all this on a Friday afternoon. I'm sure he was eager to get home after a long week. He never uttered a word of content and then insisted on unpacking every single item to make sure that everything was correct and to explain little intricacies of the parts.

That is a lot of parts for two complete brake setups for two different vehicles.

Here is a toast of friendship to Geoff.
May your business continue to prosper in a way that your father never thought was possible when he was alive. I know that your father looks down and smiles when he sees you in action.

Kindest Regards
James
Thank you , James, very much for sober and reflective thoughts.

Business need not be a fast transaction and quick turnover, but rather should reflect the needs of the client, even though he/she does not necessarily have a priori knowledge of what they may need/want. Like most professional services, there is art and science to getting the job done right.

Every kit I sell involves pointed conversation about the vehicle, its current status, its history, the reason a full suite of parts is the only way to repair, and the value of both piece of mind and integrity in the face of other less certain factors on the road, like the "other" guy, weather, road conditions, etc.

It really is a pleasure to spend time talking to each and everyone who contacts me. I am deeply grateful for all of your patronage, as these are difficult times for any business engaged in distribution of hard goods. I have seen substantial rotation in the way we have gone to market and am thankful every week to be able to take home a pay check.

Feedback from everyone enhances the services I provide for each and every successive client. It is painful to realize how many folks may not chose to subcontract their repair work, but instead assume that the dealer has the only answers or points of view. What a costly judgment!

But I do recognize that it is also their judgment to make, so I continue to spread thoughtfulness about Touareg brakes wherever and whenever I can.

Viva la revolutión!

Geoff

All I can say is WOW!!! I ordered my stuff on Tuesday morning and asked if it was possible to, since I am ordering early in the day, that could it be here by the weekend. Goeff says he will see what he can do. I got everything on Thursday and it was all sitting on my door step when I got home from work!!

The only thing that could have made it any better then this is if Goeff himself shows up in SLC Saturday morning to help me with the install. Thank you Geoff for the fast reply to my emails and getting my parts to me in a seriously timely manner. I now only wish I had Friday off to start the job a day early. I would not hesitate at all to tell anyone to make sure they order their brake kits from you!! This is customer service I have not seen or had in a very long time.

Thanks again, I truely appreciate the excellent service!!

Let me know if you need any help. I still have the tools to get the bolts off, so you could save a little on that part. It's a simple job, I actually had fun doing it. I am in Chicago also.

Question regarding the OEM and the aftermarket Alretta brakes. Personally I have a dislike for the stock brakes, the grabby feel on the stockers is especially annoying. Do the aftermarkets improve on the feel, less grabbing when nearing the last few meters/yards of a complete stop?

Yes, the new pads are much better in that sense. You are not giving up any braking imo, just a more progressive feel then the Pagids. I have been running the new ones for a week now and have not noticed any brake dust on the front wheels either. If it is there it is no noticable like the OEM Pagids were.

I bet the KIA does not stop as well as the Treg though.

Treg stops on a dime. KIA not bad, 4 wheel discs, respectable.
