They are not the real thing and do not have full function with the current software.

A VAG805 cable from www.onlyda.com is available from HongKong for around $40 + DHL courier fee of $15. They say this will work on the 2009 Touareg 2 .
I just ordered the older version from ebay but am now told that this will work for Touaregs uptil 2008 and not for the 2009. Very sad.
The VAG805 is not backward compatible on older Touaregs so if you buy it it will only work on new Touaregs.
