| Are There Any Other Vag-Com Goodies That I'm Forgetting?
This is what I have done so far, minus the compass mod, and Air Suspension Height mod. The pitch/role enable is still pending, as I'm waiting for someone to answer on how to do it in an other thread that I posted.
-Turn signal adjustments(did mine to 5 blinks)
-Switch off DRL's
-6 Light Salute
-Turn Compass On All The Time(never really understood that one, as mine already was on? )
-turn off seat belt chime
-turn off Navigation Acceptance screen
-Transmission Recode to ROW
-Pitch/Role Indicators On (Pending)
-Air Suspension Height Adjustment
Am I forgetting anything else??

The air suspension height thing is just to change the levels, but it will not get you any higher in Xtra since that is the upper most of the travel. It was more for guys that wanted to lower their Treg for bigger wheel/tire combos. Pitch/Roll is just a screen and I can't remember if it even functions since I don't believe they had sensors in it for it to work.

Ya, pitch/roll is just a screen, no function, but I just need an excuse to go outside and Vag-Com something else
So if you guys can think of something else for me to code, GO FOR IT!!!
I'd love to go experiment with some values, but I'm alone, and my wife will be giving birth any day/week now, so I can't bother her.
I like the idea of lowering the T-Reg with minimal values mind you, for the one and only following reason. Since I plan to run 20 inch mags this summer, and I also plan to do some significant highway driving on the weekends, and given the fact that our roads are not the smoothest in the north western hemisphere, by lowering the ride height of "auto mode" to "sport mode", whilst maintaining the original damping rates of "auto mode"(medium damping), without having to resort to the super firm damping of the actual "sport mode", I think that one may consider that combo a winner.
Ride height of sport mode, but with the medium damping rates of auto mode

| After Market expenses?
Hi, how much it cost for the labor and parts of adding an air suspension for the height?, headlight bulb and labor to replace it? Is it okay to add on the height suspension for the 04 v6 treg?
Thank you very much

Thank you very much | Huh...?
What are you on about? None of this cost him anything. All of it was reprogramming standard features in the Touareg using a VAG-COM diagnostic computer cable.
Half the Touaregs out there came standard with air suspension. It's not an aftermarket thing and fitting the OE setup on a steel sprung Treg would be very costly. It'll be a lot cheaper and easier to sell yours and buy one with air.
I suggest you maybe do some more reading first...

Andrie, I think he is asking how much to add air suspension to his Treg. The guy lives in the US, but appears to be from another country with his broken english. That or he is always typing replies from a cell phone. I have not figured it out yet.
BoBoy, it would be cheaper for you to just buy a Treg with air suspension rather then trying to add it to your current one.

| You could VAG TPMS Off (With your 05, I think that is your only option). The T2's can be made optional (on/off) in MFI with a checkbox setting). You could wait on this decision for another year or so when your TPMS sensor batteries go out. Its a choice/option to spending $$ to replace, not necessarily a "goody".

It disappeared in 05 at some point to return later with the system we have.
