Ok what I'm about to post is abit extravagant but who cares lol.
Now I don't own a Touareg (I'm one of the ones that dreams about owning one lol).
Anyway I propose a National Touareg GTG for 2008 and lets see if VGA wish to get involved sponsoring etc.
So now we need to discuss where it should take place ?
(I'm thinking somewhere central whispers SA Border somewhere  )
When ? (so I can book holidays and tag along if someone will adopt me that is  )
and someone experienced (Singh or Matt etc) with organising should organize this event

I've placed my order for a TD V6. They reckon March, but that's unconfirmed.
I'm interested, but it's a fair way off yet.

I'm going to Mungo National Park at Easter 2008 (around 28 March 200 , and me and Gemma are looking at extending the trip, so SA might be good to go the week after Easter although I suspect everyone will have work commitments.
But anyway, that's my opening gambit.

I've been thinking about this and am wondering if anyone still interested.
My plans are to leave Mungo NP on Monday 24 Mar 08, head for Woomera (lived there as a kid) and then down to Adelaide, onto Mt Gambier (born there), and back to Canberra via the Great Ocean Road. I'm looking at being in Adelaide around the weekend of 29/30 Mar 08.
How does that suit the Treggers? Ben (phaeton), you might be able to drum up a few Adelaide watercooled folk as well.
