Up at peak of the TT, aimed down so I can just see spare. My reason for this is backing in to avoid kids and objects...the spare is only for reference as I park within inches of my house. Originally I wanted to see more behind like a rear view mirror, but the scene is a bit narrow for that and now that I have proper tow mirrors I no longer need.

The tow mirrors you are going to want are here:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01C7...NR4K8ZSQ2JD0TJ

You may find that these tow mirrors are more valuable for towing than the back up camera. These are AWESOME mirrors and have zero vibration and have a much better shot behind the TT than anything I used before.

yep order that brand of mirrors but got the more rectangular Aero 3..Seemed to be the concuss.

My initial thoughts were to mount the camera up high, not that i like drilling holes in camper, maybe a high grade two way adhesive pad will do the trick?

I get not wanting to drill holes, but once you do (and use the proper sealant under the camera frame) it will be a much better setup with minimal wires exposed (I literally have one inch of wire going into the trailers side from the camera). A disclaimer here is that I paid someone to do it for this reason (like you didn't want to do the drilling part and didn't understand the power source at the time).

Mine is located directly about the upper running light. I think this allows one to see where this light was mounted so a similar hole can be drilled vertically above the existing hole.

The adhesive would work for a while, but the TT really bounces back there and things that are not bolted have a tendency to fall...that isn't a cheap camera...
