Upsolute Flash V10 TDi

Just wanted to give some feed back! Had my V10 flashed by Upsolute took around about 2 hrs. The Installer had a laptop and a special ecu reading device. He Deleted the original ecu settings then uploaded the Upsolute settings. Treg now produces 285kw and 900nm. Wow it now is a real beast Originally the car comes out with 230kw and 750nm so its quite a improvement on a already powerful engine. The Treg feel way quicker all round acceleration is amazing and highway cruising is even better 6th gear under 2000rpm up a mountain pass at 120kph. Fantastic! Heres a pic of my badge

What does this do to the tranny. There were some posts saying the tranny can't handle all that power.

This has been tried and tested at Upsolute in Germany. I think the tranny cant handle over 1000nm.

For the uprated R50 version, VW (or Aisin) apparently made some part enhancements to the transmission to handle the additional torque of the tuned motor. I forget the torque specs of the R50 (850 Nm seems to ring a bell, but I'm not sure), but if you're producing more than that on a stock V10 tranny, I'd say if you toe in to that newfound power too often you'll be replacing the tranny. I'd start setting aside money now too, as you've just voided the tranny warranty by adding more juice to the engine.
