Did you buy the front plate motorized retractor or make it yourself? More details would be appreciated

If you could take some close up pics of the mirror covers it would be a big help for me, specifically on the mirror side. I would like to see how much the cover is raised.

That retractable plate looks sweet. Our province got rid of the front plates a few years ago.
