V8 Motor

Throttled my 05 V8 a bit last week....1000 miles in two days, so lots of windshield time.

I thought at the time that a post was in order about how it once again reminded what a sweet motor that 310hp V8 is.

In top gear on mountain inclines, when you need a quick burst, it just pulls.

I think I was dialed into around 2800 rpms up a winding two lane road when the moment hit me...smooth, confident, controlled power delivery available on demand. Nice.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it. Good engine, that old school V8. 45K miles with plenty more to go.

Couldn't agree more. I had the same feeling when I first drove my '05 V8 in the hills around western Arkansas. I love to drive this thing!
