Horrible Service...

Just had my Touareg in for it's 10,000 mile services...Got it back with a nice dent in the door and grease marks allover the interior....
Phoned the manager this morning and let him have it in a nice way....He promissed to have the door fix and the car cleaned...BUT what kills me is that now I have a $50k car w/ 10,000 miles, 10 months old...with a fixed-resprayed-dented back door!!! just because of their bad service and "I don't care, it's not my car" attitude...
I wonder how the these dealers stay in business???

You forgot to mention the name of this dealership where you got such bad service.

I doubt that, since his info says he is based in Monarch Beach, CA.

Hi, I am a new to me 04 v8 owner. Love the truck, hate the nav.
Have you considered paintless dent removal? If the paint isn't broken they can work wonders.

wonders indeed
I bought my Jetta GLI in to have a very small dent removed with paintless.

after 1 hour, not only did they NOT remove my dent, but they added one of their own
morons.

I know for some it works fine, but it's always important to hear the other side of the story as well.
to make matters worse, the egotistical moron who added the dent was more unimpressed with his lack of skills to remove the first dent, rather than be apologetic for adding a second dent.

just be damned sure you know what you are in for regardless of which route you choose for the repair.

Start saving your pennies - dealer performed service is not cheap.

If you do it yourself (DIY), then it is much cheaper - but since you didn't SEARCH by yourself, then I guess DIY maintenance is out of the question

BTW: pics of the new ride?

If you got a Treg for your 16th - I am sure you can afford the maintenance - or at least your parents.
