F*ing spoiled brats nowadays!! These little rich boys and girls are out of touch with reality, having their mommy's and daddy's buy them whatever the hell they want. Like you're really going to pay for the maintenance yourself.

WOW! I think a few of you need to chill and take your meds! The kid can't help being born to wealthy parents. One of my best friends growing up was filthy rich, of course it was because his parents both DIED and he lived off a trust. You don't know his situation so shut up and answer his question as you would any other owner!

A little backround: I am an ASE double master tech with 12 years dealership experience as a line tech and taught auto repair for 6 more years. I know how it should go, where it should go, and when it should go.
Bought my 05 treg at Camelback VW in phoenix az with a maintenence contract. Here is the fun to date. First service; change oil, rotate tires, replace center cupholder (lost it's spring) I recieved it back with grease now permanantly part of the floor mat, all the pre-sets (radios, seats, mirrors, lights, etc) messed up, and the cup holder incorrectly installed and the armrest cover jammed over it. I then spent an hour installing the cup holder correctly and fixing the bent armrest hinges. Service number 2; change oil, rotate tires, and I specifically had the writer state "DO NOT WASH" on the ro.....got the car back very sloppily washed. Service number 3,4; lof, rotate, knew they would wash it regardless of what I said...no problems these times. Service number 5; lof, rotate, wiper inserts (holy 74$ batman), and check tranny for deathlag with a/c (yeah I know.....). Got a call from the writer 6 hours after I dropped it off saying the oil pan is stripped and they need to keep it overnight. I did however recieve the car fully detailed which did make me feel better. Now I love the Treg and my wife wants another after this one, however I am inclined to look at the Q7. Hopefully the service is better with Audi. I personally feel some fault lies with VW..... they don't know how to handle a 50K$ vehicle or owner. The Treg is a great product but it needs to be backed up a hell of alot better. For comparison, I drive a tacoma p/u and the dealer treats me as if I own a lexus. Theres my .02$ |

A Touareg bought for your 16th birthday! Good luck, kiddo, reality is going to hit hard at some point...
My first car was a Buick Skylark...

We bought our son a 2006 Jetta (He pays the payment for the most part) because we wanted him safe. He is not spoiled at all but just cared for, plus we do not want an older car and all the repairs that can go with it. At least the Jetta is under warranty.
I think the 16 year old with a Touareg should appreciate the great car and great parents they have. It's all about priorities, attitude and appreciation. Life is not all about money and things.

yeah luke i unerstand i would be pretty hacked off if the dealer bumped my car ,what about them getting them specialist dent pushes that dont paint or fill the dent ,instead they massage and push it out out. better than them painting your rear door and maybe having avariation in the paint!
