dead non nav radio

I just tried using a audio interface made by ventura technologys to connect an alpine cd changer to my 04 Touareg factory non nav radio. All the plugs were correct. Turned the car on and no radio! Its Dead! I unplugged the changer , still no power. Help!! ( i already checked the fuse in the pass. fuse panel and it is fine)

Contact the manufacturer and quickly. I once tried an aftermarket CD/MP3 changer in my car. It wasn't pretty.

Using an aftermarket changer is a false economy. If you have problems with the oem changer, you can bug VW about it. When an aftermarket changer goes bad, you will have a much harder time getting it (or the other components it took with it) fixed.
