07 Treg V6 - First Service + ECM Flash

Today I brought my 2007 V6 Treg in for its 5k mile service (had it since late August, now has ~6200 miles on it).

So far, I love the Treg. The only imperfections I've noticed is that the compass display is very dim (will get it replaced next service) and that after coming to a stop, there was a tiny bit of hesitation between touching the gas pedal and moving forward at warp drive. I figured that it might just be my fault trying to get the Treg's computer to adjust to my driving style, but as of today, the problem is gone.

The dealer told me that there was a "BF12 Service Action" which required a reprogramming of the ECM, and lo and behold, the Treg now drives like a dream! If you have an '07 and notice some hesitation, get thee to thy dealer and have them flash the ECM!

Total damage - US$137 for the oil change, fluids check, and the ECM flash.

PS. I'm driving the Treg from Connecticut to Florida starting tomorrow -- can't wait!

$137, I'm hoping I get off that cheap for 5k service. I too, just had the flash, and boy, did it make a difference.

First car I ever owned that liked to go into 5th gear at 25 mph

MUCH more responsive now.

Which dealership? Maybe I'll get my 10k service in Jersey the next time I visit family there.

Wow - I hadn't thought of Douglas before. Even though I'm in Connecticut, none of the dealers are conveniently located for me, but Douglas is about two miles down the street from my relatives in NJ. It might actually be easier for me to get service there when I visit for a weekend than getting it in CT!

The old 3.2 was 15 degrees and the new 3.6 is only 10.7, so that is why they look like inlines.
