WAITING FOR MY TREG V8

Hi Rest of the World (Especially Sub-Saharan Africa). I am from Nigeria and waiting for my American Specs Treg V8 to be delivered. Sincerely hope that I don't encounter the myriad of problems I have been reading in the Club Touareg Forums, particularly the American forum. Will let you know when it's delivered. Hey could you advice on any Touareg Garage in Nigeria just in case.

I don't think you should worry about problems. From what I've heard from my service department and my discussions with people at VW... there has been a significant decrease in the amount of problems people are having with the 2005's.

I've had my 05 for two months now and not an ounce of trouble!!!

Hi...Aliyu....I think u should be on this forum a lot. I own a V6 in Sudan, the main problem...THE DEALER.....try to order the VAG-COm and get the tools from various websites....while ur Treg is in warranty play with it so u can get the sense of what needs what...and they repair it for free (so they say)....enjoy ...its a wonderful car
