VW of Canada $5K off?

Has anyone shoped out the latest deals on '08s in Canada? Got an email from VW showing $5K off Touareg's, but I'm curious to know if the deals on the street are any better...pure curiosity here, I've got no intention of going from my '07 to an '08 (unless of course the deals are outrageous).

Apparently the deal is only good until January 2, 2008. The $5000 cash-back incentive is designed to compensate for the price discrepancies between the US and Canadian markets. If you purchase your vehicle you’re entitled to $5000 cash back and if you lease you can get $2000. I’m still waiting for my 08 Treg V6 that I ordered back in September, 2007. I may actually miss out on the offer because my Treg isn’t scheduled to arrive until January 14, 2008. From what I’ve been told, you can only receive the incentive once the dealer invoices the vehicle, which means it has to be on their lot and ready to go.

I purchased on ebay for approx. $95 US from a company called BD Trims, phone number 1-866-262-9327. It's not real wood, but it dresses it up in my opinion.

The factory installed trim isn't real wood either. Does it resemble factory? Love to see some images if you have them. Also, was installation tricky?

Actually, yes it is. Underneath that layer of plastic protection is a thin slab o' wood.
