Toronto meet anyone

Just looking at the map here. I'm on the west side by the lake. Nickm is from Ottawa, and the rest of you folks are from around Toronto.
Maybe our get together should be in Peterboro or Cobourg or Belleville or Prince Edward county. I hear it's nice there.

I have a cottage between Bancroft & Barry's Bay and we usually go up in March, so the trip is no big deal for me if it was on the same weekend.

Obviously we won't have a lot of numbers attending. What about inviting some guys who have Porsche Cayenne's?? Both vehicles share similar platforms.

Prince Edward County has some beauty spots, including the sandbanks...might be a good scenic area for us all to meet up at!...if we want we could always rent out the track at shannonville to get a few laps in with our SUVs! You have to admit a track full of touaregs would make for a great photo...

Have you tracked your Treg before? I don't have a lot of track experience but it would frighten me to take the Treg on the tracks I've been on (Mosport and Calabogie). Besides which, most places seem to have restrictions on SUVs.

Well, I've done some pretty bizarre things on roads.
Me thinks Nickm is just a keener.

I haven't but I'm sure it would be absolutely horrible on that track, its a short course that is suited to motorcycles, and even then I top out at 215kmh on the back straight on my Yamaha R1...they do have a motocross track on the property, I wonder if they'd let us on that?

I'm open to wherever, but its all touch and go for me in March since we've got a newborn due that month.

Nikm, Congrats on the expectant baby!! When in March is the baby due?

With enough notice I could do any date. If Nickm is in, then I'm fine with travelling north to Prince Edward county. If not, then travelling south to Niagra would be closer to me. Either way, I'm game.

I am in Toronto often on business..usually in the downtown core every 2nd week or so. What I can do is post on here when I'll be in town and if you don't mind coming downtown we can meet up in the evening to do the VAG changes.

Due date is March 30th!!

Downtown TO works well for me. I happen to work downtown (York/Wellington), and live within a 20 min drive of the core (Leaside).

Happy to look for a bar that's reasonably close to downtown, yet is parking friendly, if that's what people want.

Nickm - congrats on the new addition to come - your first? We just had ours about 3 months ago, and boy does life change!
