Time to trade up?

I am considering trading my 04 passat in for an 08 Treg. I still owe about 13K. The $0 downpayment needed for the 39 month lease has caught my eye. Along with the $2k vw owner incentive. Has anyone gone down a similar path?
Is there small print to be aware of?
