Ordered a Colorado Red V8 with 18" wheels. Premium Plus, rear diff, on star. I decided black was more my color though so I'm going to call the dealership and get them to change my order. I'm also interested in the V10 but can't justify the cost difference, maybe one of you can convince me?
I'm buying through Vic Bailey in Spartanburg, SC because I know Vic and have had great experiences in the past. He's also a good guy so I can count on him to get me the help I need if my Touareg turns out to be as problematic as some of the others on this board.
Unfortunately I know next to nothing about cars so thanks for putting up with my stupid questions in advance.

Can't wait for my new Treg!

Welcome. I'd say if you planned on towing a great deal that the diesel would be the way to go. You'll be more than happy with the v8.

there is one simply answer to that one, just drive it.

do it where you have not so much traffic.

i did, and the kick you getting from it makes you smile all day...


only the feeling from driving it at (200kmh) 120 miles an hour, and after pushing your right foot, shifting back from 6 to 5, seeing in the rear mirror two exhaust stripes appear, and off you go to the top.


for me, it was the ultimate ride i was looking for...
