looking at an 04 V8

The more I read about the Touareg the more I want one. I am looking at an 04 V8 with about 46,000 miles and I think I am gonna buy. Any tips? What problems should I look out for?

I want one now!

BTW I like the way they drive, been testing everything from a new one to this one.

Make sure you get an extended warranty. As any car out of warranty is potential for issue.

Go for it. I have 2004 and love it. I bought it used and now have 81K miles on it. Find a VW service department that has a Touareg trained technician. Don't try to get it serviced anywhere else. The Touareg is a very complex vehicle. I also get 17 - 18 mpg with a mix a highway and back road commute.

Yeah right that is why they sell warranties. So they can lose money on that? I don't think so
