It is no fun to do track days during cold, rainy or snow weather I don't ride on the street. The two trails that I mentioned above were very rocky (plenty of sharp rocks too). I have the Nokians on and they did not let me down. However, I was taking it reaally slow and still there are visible cuts on them. My friend slashed a sidewall but he was a bit "impatient" I should say

There is another trail I want to do which is mostly dirt and some water crossing. I don't have the name now. If you are all up to it when the times comes we can Treg it.

hello DukeIsaac,

You bought one of the two white TDI's in Gaithersburg, and I bought the other! Who was your salesperson?

I'm going back to King VW this week to get the 15,000 mile service.

Conrad787, Arbi sold me the truck back in August 2009. Great guy! I just reached the 10,000 miles mark and I received an alarm re the Adblue.

Mine had 116 miles. Have yours had any issues? Mine has had the following issues:

1) Once in a while, my alarm goes off when I lock the door using the key fob.
2) My tranny used to cause the truck to shake when climbing a slope in cruise control at around 50 mph, but I haven't noticed it lately.
3) The parking sensors act up sometimes but not often.

In the next couple of days, I'm taking it in to the dealer for the 10000 miles service and will mention those minor issues. I love driving the truck.

YES, my alarm had that problem ALL the time when I first got my car. I just had the problem corrected a few weeks ago - there is a TSB on this issue where the dealer will replace your Comfort Module for free. Go to your dealer to get rid of this annoying issue!

I haven't had your other two problems...

Your WeatherTech cargo mat... does it fit well considering the extra inch required in the trunk by the AdBlue tank?

Where do you live in Rockville? I'm right off Rockville Pike on Twinbrook Parkway. Perhaps we could meet up this week and check out each other's white TDI's and snap a few pics

Do you happen to know the TSB number for the alarm?

The WeatherTech mat fits just great. I'm right off Rockville Pike, near the BMW dealership. Maybe we could meet this Saturday. You can see how the WeatherTech fits.

TSB # 2022492. I've posted a PDF with more info about the TSB on my server for you to look at (and should probably print and bring to Congressional VW on the Pike as I did):

You are right by VOB BMW? I was there yesterday with my dad's 6 Series getting the oil changed..... Do you want to meet there Saturday around noon? I'd like to see your cargo mat and pedals.

Thanks for the info. I'm going to call the dealer, right now. I'll see you at the VOB BMW at noon on Saturday.

Where is this date code located?

I've got this problem but it has actually gotten better over time. I mean it's probably been a month since it's happened. I'd still like to get it checked/fixed since it is a pain when it goes off and never goes off at a convenient time - like when you're pulling in late at night, etc. Wake up the entire neighborhood.
