| Vegas Area Meet?
Its Spring... and several of the Vegas-area Touaregs should meet. We can go to a few favorite strip photo spots, maybe air-down and have fun at Apex or light offroading elsewhere; or just find dinner. We should get together before its 100 degrees on the strip - at midnight!

Timing is everything. I just got back from there a week ago for vacation. While I was there I bought a Touareg and am loving it.

Here are some weekends - I am thinking a Friday night, or a Saturday or Sunday type thing. Dont know everyones expectations - could be a meet up for some photos near the strip then dinner; or something more like Nellis Dunes/Apex, or a trip up Potato Ridge (Red Rock) or Wheelers Pass (Cold Creek) - and of course this can be more regular.
Coming up...
May 2 weekend - probably too soon.
May 9 weekend - Mothers Day Weekend. I am in Phoenix.
May 17-May 20 - Moab (In Moab, free to join us!)
May 23 weekend - Memorial Day Weekend, Open.
May 30 weekend - Open
June 6 weekend - Maybe open, may be in Big Bear
June 13 weekend - Maybe open, may be in Big Bear
June 20 weekend - Open
June 27 weekend - Open
and of course July 19 - 27 many of us are in Ouray.
Can also be weekdays.
Any weekend look good?

I'll limit it down a little bit. Here's How my time stacks up (in parenthesis)
May 2 weekend - probably too soon. (Supercross, friends in town)
May 9 weekend - Mothers Day Weekend. I am in Phoenix. (Open)
May 17-May 20 - Moab (In Moab, free to join us!) (Moab-Yeah!)
May 23 weekend - Memorial Day Weekend, Open. (Glen Helen, MX race)
May 30 weekend - Open (Open)
June 6 weekend - Maybe open, may be in Big Bear (Parents visiting)
June 13 weekend - Maybe open, may be in Big Bear (Maybe BigBear, or riding in Utah)
June 20 weekend - Open (Open AFAIK)
June 27 weekend - Open (Open AFAIK)
and of course July 19 - 27 many of us are in Ouray. (Hooray for Ouray!)
Can also be weekdays. (Evenings for me. Pesky work schedule...  )
if we did a weekend day, would you guys be interested in trying a trail somewhere? I've been wanting to head up Kodachrome on the east side (runs from Vegas valley/Hollywood area to Lake Mead Blvd) in the Touareg for a while. Used to ride my dirtbike there all the time. From my end, Sundays usually work better if it's going to be an all-day (or morning) affair.
So, lets bump it. Is it going to be dinner, or dirt?

Its looking like Memorial Day weekend, or late June are available weekends.

Was that East Lake Mead BLVD in North Las Vegas, or East Lake Mead PKWY in Henderson?
Either way, I'm in. If it's Lake Mead PKWY, we can run Kodachrome, and meet up at Montelago at Lake Las Vegas for whatever.

Hi,, everyones schedule is fluid.... I am thinking sometime in the next couple weeks after a few of us return from Moab on Wednesday. So Memorial Day weekend out to the end of the month or so seems available. After that, the next opportunities are realistically in July.
We should probably take this offline - I'll pm my email address and phone, and can banter a date and agenda amongst the three of us. Then we can post up a time so that anyone else in the area can also join us.
