Best VW service dealer in San Diego, CA?

Hello ya'll, I was wondering if anyone know which dealer in san diego that is a good service dealer for Touareg? I heard Classic VW is good one and the miramar is not too good. Any other suggestion?

Thank you fellow T-reg

I've had good experiences with City in the past with my old GTI.

I just had my 40k service done at Miramar where I've had my V10 serviced since new. And I must say I was extremely impressed. Be sure to ask for Russ, one of their service writers. He loves his job and the Touareg and it shows. He's very knowledgeable and detail oriented. People really do make the difference between a good and bad dealership, and this is no exception.

I bought two GTIs and one Touareg from Classic. However I never got any serviced there. I have used Miramar several times and they have did ok for me. I have also used Metro VW in downtown but they do not do VWs anymore. I may try Classic for my updates on my Treg.

vw service

I LOVE Classic in Escondido. I bought 2 Beetles from them and they did all the service on them and my Treg. They know their stuff and treat you right. Bought my Treg from Miramar, only because they had the one I wanted and Classic didn't have any at the time. I knew more about the Treg than the salesman at Miramar and haven't heard any good things about their after service. I would drive out of my way to go to Classic, but since they are only a couple of miles from me....no need.

My favorite dealership is South Bay VW in National City. I have bought 5 VW's from them in the last year and they are great to work with. No one has been able to match their deals. Ask for salesmen Jamie or Walter (he is from Germany and used to be a VW TECH). The service department is great also.

I have had great experiences with Classic VW in Escondido for service also.

Any recent news on Classic in Escondido. My first (and only) experience was not good. They tried to sell me brakes that I just had replaced at Southbay VW. I continue to drive over 50 miles to Southbay, but Classic is a lot closer. So if anyone has noted any improvements recently, I'd like to hear about it. Until then, I will continue to go to Southbay VW where I have gone for years with our three VWs. Great service in every aspect of their business.

Have been going to Classic since I bought my Treg there in 05. Nothing but good experiences with them. We also bought a 05 Jeta there also.

imorgan,
Have you been dealing with the same service advisor since '05. If so, who? At SouthBay VW we have been dealing with the same guy since '99. So, it would be nice to know if there is another service advisor out there that has some tenure and a track record of satisfying cutomers.

Interestingly enough..we also have an '05 Treg and an '05 Jetta.
