Hello SanDiegoTouareg,

I was dealing with Sharon for the longest until about a year ago. Sharon left and now I have been dealing with John Robertson who has been there as long as I have been at Classic. John is knowledgeable and very customer service orientated. Overall I have never felt pressured or “suggested “service – even when I inquired about additional services.

I have a very good knowledge about cars and bench mark a dealer’s service department on how they treat me and if they try to the “suggest service” needs. Over the years I have dealt with dealers trying that. So far with Classic – to me - have been great to deal with. I was really surprised when you stated about your brakes - hopefully things are not changing there. They do have a new service department manager – the other one left about the same time Sharon left. I am due very soon for some service on the Treg, guess I’ll find out.

Hope that helps and Happy 4th !!

Ira

imorgan,

Happy 4th to you, too! Thanks for the feedback.

The brake issue was May'07. The service advisor per my documenation was Allen Rawson. Maybe my experience was an anomaly. Maybe it's just that the service that I have been receiving at Southbay is so stellar, it's hard for another service department to meet my expectations.

Let me know how your next service goes.

-Steve.

Steve,

I know what you mean about trying to compare to stellar. Looking to go in in the next couple of weeks. Will keep you posted.
