Mine do not squeal at all and that it what it should be.
However the oems I had before did not squeal either. They produced an incredible amount of break dust though.

Front and Rear Kits - Perfect
I bought front and rear kits. Dealer quoted 5 hours labor for the work.
Initial 20 miles or so I needed to press harder for the same brake performance. After that everything is fine. Not much difference compared to OEM. Geoff was very friendly and professional. Another great fellow Mac user. Thanks a lot! Very satisfied!! \

Just finished my front and rears this weekend. As others indicated, it was a fairly easy job. If you can change Treg's oil you can handle this job. I actually thought the rear was easier. A little less working room but much easier to move caliper out of the way and tie it up while swapping rotors.
Geoff was a pleasure to deal with and the parts and packaging were all first class. It was convenient to be able to get pads, rotors, sensors, hardware all in one shipment that was delivered quickly. Suggestion for Geoff. If you can source the triple square sockets those would be a great option to offer with the kit. The larger one needed for the rear (15 or 16mm, I forget) is very difficult to find. I went to 4 parts stores and a hardware store before finally ordering a complete set from Amazon. Brakes seem to perform just as good as the originals. I got 43k out of my originals and the rears still had life in them. Hopefully the new parts last as long. Have not drive far enough to determine if brake dust is any better or worse but so far no significant build up. Two thumbs up for Geoff and his brake kits. Great service, saved me a ton of $$$ versus the Stealer, and I got to bond with the Treg by doing it myself. Mike 04 V8 |

16mm triple square and a 5 mm triple square
torx 50 and a 6mm hex. The rest should already be in your toolbox Havy duty ratchet or a torque wrench will do too and will come in handy for big UU bolts

Geoff --- you are the man!!!!
I got my brake package from UPS Tuesday and had my front brakes done tonight. Great product, great brake feel and the things grab like they did when the car was new!!!! The guy who did my install (TOUAREG Tech) said he was very impressed with the quality of the pads and was even surprised that the package included hardware. Geoff.. you were absolutely great to work with when I ordered everything and I would highly recommend your company and your products to everyone needing to get their brakes done. SAVE YOURSELF THE MONEY AND DON'T GET SCREWED AT THE DEALERSHIP. Anyone who lays down and pays the dealer's price... I don't feel bad for you and certainly don't want to hear you bitching about the cost. You don't have to do it that way.

Jeoff,
Your customer service was great. I did the fronts on my ride a few weeks ago. It went very smoothly. Rears have lots of pad left even at 43K miles. Any chance you can start offering the rotor bolts. Living in upstate NY where they dump salt on the roads 6 months a year it can take a toll on these. I would like to replace them each time to save myself potential aggravation down the road. J-

Rotor bolts? I will need to look into that
I will need to see if I can supply the rotor attaching bolts.
Not sure if I can source them, but I will ask. Please give me some time to research this though. How much do they cost folks? I am ready to offer the necessary special tool bits, however. See the posting today in the General Discussion forum for more. Thank you! Geoff

Rotor attaching bolts now available!
Folks,
The rotor attaching bolts will now be in stock and available for $5.00 per axle set of two. These will be most welcome to owners in the rust belt states where all manner of oxidation occurs! OE parts delivered when you need them! Now instead of a trip to the dealer for these small parts, I will have ample inventory to always make them available to anyone buying a brake kit. I expect to offer the 16mm triple square and 5mm triple square socket bits in the very near future for $7 per bit. A tamper proof 16mm bit for use on the oil pan drain plug as well as the caliper bolts would be $9 each. (Features a hole in the center of the bit.) Our latest improvement to what is certainly the best brake kit! (Please let me know if anyone has additional suggestions for related items.) Thank you to everyone who has made it a point to offer their two cents! Regards, Geoff

Just got off the phone with Geoff and must say he was very pleasant and knowledgable. This one stop shopping package he has put together is going to save all of us a ton of time and $$!!! I'm so glad the dealer isnt getting a chance to steal any more $ from me!
