steering wheel functions with aftermarket nav system system?

can you keep your steering wheel functions? if so, with what?also will you lose your security system with an aftermarket unit in their?

It seems to be questionable whether or not steering controls will work with aftermarket nav on early 04 treg, what about the heads up display with auto info between the guages??? Will can bus interface support this function or will could I lose the readouts?

if you have the monochromatic mfi you will lose the top half where the radio info is, bottom will stay the same. Security system is unaffected, and do some reading for the steering wheel controlls.
