the main reason I suggest the 500/1 is I firmly believe in having more power than you need. I had my Boston G5 10" which is rated at 750 max. I tried giving it 500 and it sounded good and never really clipped bad. Then I switched to 1,000 and it just gave the bottom end a more solid feel, almost like increasing the responce time. It just feels more tight now and blends perfectly with my 8" door speakers.

Well my stereo project has just been delayed for a little while. I have to replace the positive battery cable, which is going to be around 1100, with a 200 mile trip to a reputable dealer. Im not too satisfied, especially since the extended service contract has yet to cover a single problem with my Treg. Hopefully my project will start soon, since my rear speaker are about done...
