Motorola Bluetooth

We had the Motorola IHF1000 bluetooth installed on our treg w/nav today. In order to do the install, they had to disconnect the rear 6 disc cd player. Does anyone have a work around to have both the bluetooth and cd player work.(The Motorola IHF1000 is VW's offical bluetooth system. You would think that they would have worked this issue out.)

there should be no reason they should of disconect you cd changer , if they used a t harness the need to move the cd changer plug to the new plug that plugs into the radio or they might of not pluged it in some how

a t harness is a harness that plugs in between the factory radio and the the harness to the car, in this harness is the connections for the bluetooth kit. with this harness is a slot for the the cd changer plug to plug back in the factory location but has to be removed from the stock harness and then pluged into it.

Update

After the third try, the dealer tech finally got the bluetooth wired correctly, Still no CD but it now turns off when the ignition is turned off. I got spocket's wire kit and will get it installed once I am sure that all other issues are fixed. It's amazing that a VW supported product with a VW install manual could not be correctly installed. In all other aspects, the dealer and service rep have been excellent.

I use Pasadena VW. Again I want to stress that in all other aspects, the dealer has been terrific. I will also say that the service writer makes all the difference.
