Ipod installation instructions
Does anyone have installation instructions for the VW OEM ipod adapter for the touareg?
Or can someone post pictures of their ipod adapter that was installed at the dealer? I can't decide whether to put it in the glove box or in the console storage area.

I don't have the instructions they come with the adaptor. I say put in the center console, easier access.

Too late I put it in the glove box this morning. I just felt lazy and did not want to mutilate my cup holder or storage compartment.
It was just easier to drill a hole in the glove box over the light and fish the wire through. I just made the wire travel maximum length just far enough for me or the front seat passenger to use.

Glove Box.
And I used a small rubber grommet for the hole and threaded the cable through it. Looks very good. Have enough cable to reach the driver. I may move it to the armrest if this proves awkward.

I put mine into the center armrest storage area. The lead is long enough to take it out and check what's playing. I drilled the hole in the front of the removable bin, and used the included rubber grommet. I looks and works great. I also bought a used bin online, in case I wanted to change it back to stock (as I have been eye-ing the DICE setup.)

I am going to move my DICE iPod adaptor from the glovebox to the armrest area. Too difficult to manipulate the Pod while driving alone.
I believe I saw that a member here sells a mount that fits in either a cupholder or the empty suspension control spot in the console. reference please.
