Help with CD nav self-install

Hey guys, so I got red of my fully loaded 2004 V8 but still have my package one V8. I have ordered a CD navigation unit from Audi RNS-E, VW MFD2, Audi Navigation, Audi Navigation Plus, Systems and Accessories and it comes with all the goodies I need. I do need help on the installation of the GPS antenna and placement. One other thing, I need help with "VAG COM" if it will be needed.

Thanks guys and I will add more info after I receive the unit

Linder

I just installed the DVD nav which was easy. The antena i had istalled by the dealer they had to take the front right headlight out so they could mount it on the right front door. I would advice to have the dealer do it.

Good luck!

What stereo do you have in your car? did you have to re-wire the amp?
This is interesting, what was your source for the DVD navigation and what did you do exactly on the install, was it plug and play, or more.

Thanks
Linder

It was plug and play all you need is the 4 prongs to take the radio out. The antana i had to have the dealer put in. There will be 2 wires for the antena one pugs into the Nav and one will need to grounded there are pics of the wiring below.

INSTALLATION PROBLEM----
