Just bought a new MFD3 RNS 510 navigation unit for my 04 v8 treg with out asking the question (ebay).Does it work?.

I read somewhere that you might need a converter. Please let us know and if you don't mind how much was it? I will check with my installer to see if he knows.

I would be very curious to see how and if this performs well, have been very tempted to do something to my Treg. was thinking of going the after market route but would love to have it look original instead.

One of the downsides I've read on here or on VWVortex was that the steering wheel controls may be lost, even with a converter. Other than that, I don't recall reading anything else about trying to make it work.

That thing looks very cool! If you don't mind the question, how much did it go for?

Got it . Guess what !

Looks like it has been dropped from 5 feet. I thought it was a bit cheap. Ebay has done it again. Yes i have to buy an adapter called a (can bus 1.6 - 2.0)

Does this come with bluetooth ???
You mentioned about the Kufatec adapter Navi-Upgrade - Multimedia Interface,Multimedia Adapter,Navigation systems,Wechslerkabel,Car Hi-Fi,KUFATEC, Dietz, Conexx . do you have to have it to make all of the option work..
What about the backup camera ??
