Bought a MFD3 RNS 510 navigation 04V8 - Page 3

Went to my lacal Vw Dealer today and explained the situation and they installed it today free of charge and it works well.. The nav antenna still needs to be installed and the radio antena did not fit. The DVD worked whilst driving at any speed but turned of after about 15 mins. Looks awsome! The map pointed at the Czech Republic funny enough.

What a relief, still going to give this seller a huge red mark...

Ok, so now that you have it installed and it is working, how do you upload new maps? Does it use a DVD? Are there maps available for Australia?

Good question ! Yes dvd I think. I will deal with all that when I get my can bus 1.6 -2.0 adapter. Do you know where the instructions are to install the Gps antenna?

I very Sorry , but I have fotos make a head of send.This demaged not arise as a result of sth., this is looks like as if appliance fall down , because this sheet metal and this defect not follow on transport.Tommorow I send to You fotos before on send and be more is ok.I not feel guilty in this affair, because this appliance been very good to seal an envelope and this defect appliance on fall down.In this moment I don't hellp you an Your fotos definitives indicate on fall down.

No just the standard cd unit.... Now have to buy an can bus adapter for full compliance....

Had V6 petrol on Pirelli AT's with Sat Nav, Rear Diff locks, Bluetooth & Phatbox.
