wheel spacer options
I know wheel spacers are generally not a good idea, but for those of us who want to fine tune wheel face to fender alignment, what are our options.
I know H&R has 14mm, 15mm, 18mm and 23mm DR according to their site and Eibach has 7mm. H&R offers a 7mm and 14mm for a different application with same bolt pattern and center bore, but doesn't list it under Touareg/Cayenne. Anyone know why? Has anyone used any of these? (especially 7mm or 14mm H&R) FYI, from my measurement the rear track on the Touareg is 20mm more narrow than the front. So, just to bring the rear wheel out to match the the front 10mm on each side would be needed. I'd like to try 7mm up front and 15mm or 18mm in the rear. But I'd like to know if I can use the H&R vs Eibach due to availability and price. Oh, and if you've used 7mm, are they hubcentric? Thanks, Rey |
