So I replaced the residual pressure valves yesterday & that was my problem. My treg sits level now. I would recommend taking rear wheels off to replace valve instead of crawling under treg. It is a lot easier to get at this way. Not easy, but easier. See, I told you guys I don't need dealer to figure this out. I did not install compressor kit yet. I will drive it a couple of weeks & see if I need to do so.

I think so. It usually makes fault code come on 5 minutes or less while engine is running. I have had no problems since install & ass is not up in the air any more. Dead giveaway was pulling airline off valves & only the air from the airline is heard leaking out. I would recommend buying the right socket for valves though. Makes it much easier for $23 extra. No leak down over night either.

What size is the socket as the link does not work, is it just a deep reach socket?

I had this exact same problem, and replacing the rear residual pressure valves also fixed it on mine. Luckily the valves did not break on removal, so the fix wasn't that hard. VW dealer tried to diagnose and was clueless.

Hi there, I have gone through a list of fixes and already replaced the residual valves on the front of the truck without issue. I was wondering how you accessed the valves on the rear suspension? Can you go through the inside of the vehicle or did you go from the outside as the top of the shock is pretty far up in the truck.
Thanks.

Rear valves was stuck on mine the other day. Tried to reach them without taking the leg out, but it's no reasonable way to get to them. Took the legs out, wasn't that bad. 20 min out each, 20 min back. Top bolts a little hard to reach, have some patience.
Got the valves off, drenched them in WD40 and with some help from the airgun they loosened.
Of course you should fit new valves while at it, but I didn't have the time. Works fine now.
