minimum tire speed rating for treg

What's the lowest min. speed rating we can safely run on the treg. My most demanding tire usage may be 4 hour runs from Los Angeles to Vegas in the summer heat with avg. speed of 85. (just a worst case) Will, for example, a tire rated at S-112mph be safe for typical use. I doubt the tire will fail at 112, but will sustained speeds of 100 degrade the tire?

As long as you remain under the speed said tire is rated then you are fine. BUT Do not exceed the speed rating. I'll try and find the video but a while back I saw this video that show a tire that was being spun quicker than it's speed rating and it wasn't pretty. The tire ballooned like a drag slick during burn out then it exploded. Not pretty.
