Spock used to get good mileage out of his v10. I think it dropped a bit lately due to lack of Maintenance. Hey Spock, when when the last time you put new spark plugs in that thing?

Seriously, Everyone chime in. You can make fun of me. About 350 miles max on the V8 gasser. Now, don't you all feel better.

I usually get around 550 per tank. Sounds great but with diesel at 4.25 per gallon it costs $100 per fill.

I have put 550 on a tank with highway driving and thought I was done. At fill up I was able to get 23.5 gallons in....2.5 gallons left in tank. I guess if i had run it down to vapors, I could have gone a little over 600 on a tank.

I average 13.8 mpg in town with almost no highway driving. (thats around 350 miles on a tank) but on the open road travelling at an average speed of 88mph I get 500 plus miles. (I guess if I drove the speedlimit of 75mph I would get over 600 no doubt)
I'm in South Africa and we've got some of this fancy new clean diesel with less than 0.05% sulphur and it seems to go just a little further and give a bit more power. Do you guys have it in the US yet?

I do 85% highway driving on my V10 and long term average is 23.8 mpg over the last 7K. According to the computer I can get 26mpg if I drive real nice and keep it around 65. I usually get 550+ miles on a tank.
