Storage questions

Just got a new 2008 Touareg VR6 for my wife. It's loaded w/ 4-zone climate, nav, cd changer
But it does *not* have:
1. a user manual shelf in glove box
2. storage drawer under passenger seat
3. driver's side storage in trunk
4. dash storage flip-up

Can I get purchase and install any of these items in the US?

1. Don't think V6 has that option. yes it can be purchased online
2. NLA as of 2007 IIRC
3. The equipment for the 4zone is located there.
4. Europe only but can be purchased online and added.

No it can't.

Is there a reason?
In earlier cars, is the bin in the platform beneath the seat?
If so, Is that now occupied with something?

It probably would just not be cost effective to put it in. I am not sure if something else now occupies that space now or not. I will miss it if I ever get a new one as well. The covered dash bin imo is not worth it. I have one and there are two little gears on a rod in the rear of it that keep it in sync when you open it. Mine both broke and it is now a PITA to get open. I am not the only one with this issue. It does finish the dash off well but those two gears are pretty weak.
